    Abstract
  • Objective To explore the role of telomere, telomerase and its hTR in NPC. Methods The telomere kinetic, The expressions of telomerase and its hTR were studied with Southern Blot, TRAP PCR ELISA and RT nested-PCR, respectively. Results There were shorter MTL (4.5±2.3kb) and higher telomerase activity (88.0%) in nasopharyngeal tissues as compared with normal control.
