Signifiance of the determination of telomerase activity in esophageal cancer

objective To investigate the signifiance of the determination of telomerase activity in esophageal cancer. Methods Using telomeric repeat amplification protocol(TRAP)and silver staining methods,33 cases of esophageal cancer and paracarcinous tissues and 8 casea benign disease tissues were detected.
