  • Objective To study problems regarding to reoperation of thyroid carcinoma. Methods 108 cases with thyroid carcinoma(from 1989 to 2002) were summarized retrospectively for their condition of reoperation. Results 108 cases with thyroid carcinoma had been reoperated for 112 times.Complications occurred in 22% of the cases.Patients were followed-up for 2～13 years, 5 and 10 years survival rate were 75.0%(81/108) and 37%(40/108) respectively.
