Effect of SerpinH1 on Proliferation and Growth of Murine Tumor

  • Objective To investigate the effects of SerpinH1 on the proliferation of murine tumor. Methods We first cloned SerpinH1 and set up SerpinH1 targeted siRNA structure, and then investigated the effects of SerpinH1 on the tumor cell proliferation and growth. The inhibition of cell proliferation and growth was demonstrated by both WST-1 cell proliferation assay and 5′-bromo-2′-deoxy-uridine incorporation assay with flow cytometry (FACS). Results The expression of SerpinH1 could inhibit the proliferation of the monocyte tumor RAW264.7 cells and melanoma B16 cells. Meanwhile silencing SerpinH1 could promote the proliferation of both RAW264.7 and B16 cells. Conclusion The results indicated that SerpinH1 could inhibit the proliferation and growth of both RAW264.7 and B16 tumor cells.
