Abstract
Objective To investigate the inhibitory effects of T-VISA-BikDD plasmid on tumor cells in vitro. Methods T-VISA-BikDD and CMV-BikDD plasmids were transfected into a wide variety of tumor cell lines by cationic liposome lipofectamineTM2000.Cell activities were observed by MTT method and cell mortality was analyzed. Results T-VISA-BikDD plasmid demonstrated killing effects in several tumor cell lines. Dose-dependent relationship of lethal effect were observed in the tested tumor cell lines (P<0.01). Conclusion T-VISA-BikDD plasmid has certain lethal effect for a wide variety of tumor cells. It could effectively inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells and shows remarkable implication in clinical antitumor gene therapy.
