Role of SWI/SNF Complex Subunit Abnormality in Tumors and Progress of Related Therapeutic Strategies

  • The SWI/SNF complex is an important multi-subunit protein complex that regulates gene expression in eukaryotic cells. It is widely involved in various biological processes such as signal transduction, cell cycle and cell differentiation. SWI/SNF complex subunit mutations occur in more than 20% of malignant tumors. This article reviews the role and characteristics of this complex and its subunits in malignant tumors, and explores the potential clinical application of SWI/SNF complexes in tumor therapy.
