Analysis of Therapeutic Failure Cause of Carcinoma In The Larynx

cases of carcinoma of the larynx had been treated in our hospital from July, 1975 to July,1990' The recurrence tate of 3 years were 51. 9% (151/291), and the death rate was 18. 57%(54/291). All cases were clinically staged' Among them, 31 cases were staged i, 102cases,,andl24cases ac mixture type 34, 142cases received radiotherapy alon. 44 cases were operated partlarynx resection, and 42 cases whole larynx resection. 37 cases were performed part larynx resection plus radiotherapy. 26 cases received local mass laser excise. Accprding to clinical stage andclassification, we discussed-the best method of all the treatments to carcinoma of the larynx andits recurrence and death causes.
