The Assaying of CEA In The Serum And Tissue of Ovarian Neoplasma

Forty-one cases of ovarian cardnoma and 26 ovarian bening tumor were a88ayed for carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) in serum and tissue. The results sb6ed ;(1)The positive rate of CEAinserum and tissue of ovarian cancer was higher than benign tumor. (2) The positive rate of CEAin serum and tissue of epithelial and metastasis cancer was higher than non-epithelial cancer. (3)The positive rate of CEA of serum in stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ was lower than in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ, but it awsno differentiation in tissue. (4) The staining strength of CEA in the tissue did not asswhte withcontent of CEA in the serum. The result suggested that the assaying of CEA be useful for diangnosis of ovarfan cancer.
