Ultrastructural observation on Astrocytoma Cell Membrane of The Human Brain

This paper reports ultrastructural change of the human intracranisl astrocytoma by means of transmission electron microscope(TEM)and scanning electron microscope(SEM).TEM presents that astrocytoma cell membrane has numerous microprocesseg.SEM displays that the surface of the tumor cell contains ruffles and irregular peeudopodia.Our observational results suggest that the invasivegrowth and postoperative recurrence of the astrocytoma be related to these processes ruffles and pseudopodia.
