The anticancer effects of carboplatin on A_(549) lung cancer cells and its mechanism

In order to study the anticancer effects of carboplatin (CBDCA) in vitro.We have examined the inhibition of DNA synthesis,DNA interstrand cross-linking(ISC)and the changes of ultrastructure of A549 Lung cancer cells (A549 cells).Four experimental groups, named A (20ug/ml)B(40ug/ ml),C(60ug/ml) and D (80ug/ml)according to different dosage of CBDCA and one group without CBDCA as control were used. In conclusion,we demonstrate that CBDCA is a DNA breakage analog,The DNA ISC induced by CBDCA is related to the inhibition of DNA replication and cytotoxicity.
