Nlethadolagy and eff ieacy analysis of Lina-based radivsnrgery i'ar brain glivmas

From March 1995 to May 1996,45 cases of brain gliomas were treated by stereotactic radiosurgery(SRS) with a modified linear accelerator(BrainScan Xknife treatment system,Germany).The results of being followed up for more than 6 months showed that 75 .56 percent tumors had been controlled growth,The patient'survival rate over 6 months was 77.78 percent .Significant complication occurred in 22.22 percent cases after treatment.The author summarized and introduced their experience on indication,requirement of Computed Tomography,design and optimization,creterion of therapeutically effect,change of pathology,prevention and cure for complication.
