43 late cases with malignant tumors were treated by lentinan(Tian Di Xin)combining with chemotherapy,total remission rate was 55.81% and sig-nificantly hither than that(35.14%)of the 37 patients by chemotherapy only(P<0.05).Among of them there was severely significant diffe-rence in gastric cancer patients(P<0.01).Immunological function has been examined in 45 cases,the results showed that TianDiXin could significantly raise the percentage of lymphocyte transfer rate and enhance Natural killer cells activity of cancer patients.We consider that TiandiXin could improve the immunological.condition and raise the remission rate of chemotherapy for cancer patients.
