    Abstract
  • Clinical data of carcinoma of the middle ear in 15 cases were analysed. The rescults showed that the carcinoma of the middle ear bad prognosis because the disease was diagnosed late. The survival rate was increased by earlier diagnosis and surgery plus radiotherapy. The treatment of chronic purulent otntis midia could diminished morbidity of carcinoma of the middle ear because chronic purulent otitis media may be related to carcinoma of the middle ear.
