30 Patients of Gastroenteril Carcinoma Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy

Objective To evaluate clinical features, effective treatment and prognosis of colorectal and gastric carcinoma Methods Histologic slides of 30 cases from 1989 to 1996 of colorectal and gastric carcinoma with the early postoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy and MF(MMC 5FU) chemotherapy were treated. Results Two patients with gastric carcinoma survived for 6-year. In 30 evaluable patients, the overall 1、2 and 5year survival rates were 86.6%,63.3% and 6.6%. Conclusion The early postoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy and MF(MMC-5FU) chemotherapy are of advantage in preventing and treating tum or recurrence in the peritoneal cavity and hepatic metastases
