The Relationship between Serum Homocysteine and Malignant Tumors

Objective To assess the relationship serum homocysteine and malignancy. Methods The content of serum homocysteine was measured in the 249 malignant tumor cases and 215 health controls by A/C Diagnostics Homocysteine Enzymatic Microtiter Plate Absorbance Assay. Results The geometric mean of serum Hcy is 118.48μM/L(95%CI: 116.40~ 120.56)for cases and 11.20μM/L (95%CI: 8.16~ 14.24) for controls.
