    Abstract
  • Objective To investigate the expression of peroxisome proliferators-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) and the effect of pioglitazone (PGZ) on cell growth in human gastric cancer cells. Methods MGC803 cells treated by various concentration of PGZ were assessed.The expression of PPARγ was detected by RT-PCR.Anti-proliferation was obtained by MTT assay.The analysis of apoptosis was employed with Hoechst33342/PI and DNA gel electrophoresis.
