Radiotherapy for 54 Patients with Brain Metastases

Objective To study the efficacy of radiotherapy on the brain metastases. Methods 54 patients with brain metastases from September,1996 to September,2000 were treated with radiotherapy, when the dose of whole-brain radiotherapy got up to 30Gy,then supplemented 20～24Gy or 16～18Gy. Results The 8 patients without supplementary irradiation all died in one year.
