  • Objective To study telomerase activity of exfoliated cells in humoral specimens from patients with malignant neoplasms. Methods Polymerase chain reaction-Enzyme linked immunosorbented assay (PCR-ELISA)was applied to detect telomerase activity in pleural effusion,ascites,urine from patients with malignant neoplasms. Results Telomerase activity was detected in 33 of 54 pleural effusion and ascite cells from patients with malignant neoplasms in humoral specimens,the overall positive rate is 61.11%.Telomerase...
