Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy and tolerability of Concurrent chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of elderly patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods Between July 2002 and July 2005,25 Patients aged over 60 years with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma received concurrent chemoradiotherapy.Chemotherapy consisted of 2 cycles oral capecitabine (750~850mg/m2 twice daily) on day_ 1-14 and i.v.carboplatin (AUC=6mg/min) on day_ 1 .The cycle was repeated every 3 weeks.Radiation with s...
