Clinicopathologic Analysis of 464 Cases of Thyroid Carcinoma in Yanbian Area

Objective To study the incidence trend of patients with thyroid carcinoma in Yanbian Area. Methods A retrospective analyze of 464 cases with thyroid carcinoma from 1970 to 2004 diagnosed by pathology. Results The incidence of thyroid carcinoma was increased in Yanbian area over the 1970~2004 periods. Papillary,follicular,medullary and anplastic carcinoma accounted for 70%,21%,4% and 3% of cases,respectively.The rate of papillary carcinoma increased from 58% in 1970 to 85% at present.The mean age at diagnosis ...
