Custom-made Redial Forearm Flap in Ⅰ Phase Reconstruction of Soft-tissue Defects in Oral and Maxillary Area

Objective 　To evaluate the feasibility and the effect of custom2made redial forearm flap (RFF) in the reconst ruction of sof t2tissue defect s in oral and maxillary area. Methods 　Thirty2two cases with soft2tissue defect s underwent immediate reconst ruction with custom2made redial forearm flaps according to the sites and shape of the defect s and returned for evaluation. Results 　All the flaps were completely survived, the overall success rate was 100 %. With 6 ～36 months follow2up, cosmetic result s and oral function were satisfactory. Conclusion 　Custom2made redial forearm flap is a safe and reliable choice for the immediate reconst ruction of sof t2tissue defect in oral and maxillary area, can st rikingly improve the quality of life.
