Mutation of ING1 Gene in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Abstract
Objective To detect the mutation of inhibitor of growth 1 ( ING1) gene in non2small cell lung cancer ( NSCLC) . Methods Polymerase Chain Reaction 2Single St rand Conformation Polymorphism ( PCR2SSCP) was used to detect mutation of ING1 exon 2 in 73 cases of NSCLC and 13 cases of non2neo2 plasia lung tissues. Results There is no mutation of IN G1 gene in 73 cases of NSCLC and 13 cases of non2neoplasia lung tissues. Conclusion Mutation of IN G1 gene is uncommon in NSCLC and mutation is not a reason for IN G1 inactivation. Down2expression of IN G1 gene may happen in t ranscription or post2 t ranscription.
