Abstract

Abstract

36 giant cell tumor of bone(GCT) on paraffin-embeded specimens were stained by Feulgen.Then the nuclear DNA content of them were measured by “Video Pro 32”Colour image analysis system.The results showed that Jaffe′s pathologic grades of GCT was not significant difference in DNA index and various DNA ploidy.GCT of various grades were found some cases of aneuploid.It pointed out the tumor was latent malignancy.The results of quantitative analysis of DNA showed that there was malignant giant cell tumor in GCT.
