Durogesic in 42 patients with moderate or severe cancer pain

  • Objective To observe the efficacy and adverse reactions of Durogesic (transdermal fentanyl) in patients with cancer pain. Methods 42 patients with moderate or severe cancer pain were treated by Durogesic. The pain intensity and curative effects were assessed every 24 hours. Results The complete and marked remission rate was 11.9% and 73.8% respectively. The overall effective rate was 85.7% .
