Statistic Analysis of Pathological Biopsies from 6242 Cases of Breast Tumors in Dongguan Region

Objective To study the occurence figure and rules of the breast tumors in Duanguan Region. Methods A statistic study was carried on 6242 cases of breast tumors confirmed by pathological examinations. Results There were 5719 benign cases ( 91.62% ) and 523 malignant cases ( 8.38% ). The ratio of benign to malignant tumors was 10.9 ∶1, and male to female was 1∶ 50.2 .
