Abstract

Abstract

Formononetin (FN) and its derivatives have multiple biological functions, such as antioxidant, antiviral and protective effects. In recent years, its anticancer activity has captivated a growing number of attention from researchers all over the world. This review summarized the research progress of formononetin for anticancer drug development, and some existing questions are analyzed.
