Application Advances of Carbon Nanoparticles in Therapy for Lung Carcinoma

  • Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death globally. Clinical stages and prognosis of patients with lung carcinoma are closely related to the extent of lymphadenectomy. Carbon nanoparticle is a new lymph tracer with a clear lymphatic mapping and a long time for dying, which could accurately trace the lymph node, and assist in the targeted anticancer drug delivery and the treatment of cancerous pleural effusion. It may have wide applications in the therapy for lung carcinoma in the future. This article will review the application advances of carbon nanoparticle in the therapy for lung carcinoma.
