Intrapleural Minicatheter Drainage and Intrapleural Injection with Pseudomonas Aerugino2 sa Preparation and Cisplatin in Treatment of Mal ignant Pleural Effusion

Objective 　To evalulate the clinical efficacy of int rapleural minicatheter drainage and int rapleu2 ral injection with p seudomonas aeruginosa preparation and cisplatin in the t reatment of malignant pleural effusion. Methods 　50 patient s with malignant pleural effusion were t reated with int rapleural minicatheter drainage and int rapleural injection with p seudomonas aeruginosa preparation and cisplatin. Results 　The effective rate and median survival were78 %(39/ 50) and 228 days. Conclusion 　This study shows that in2 t rapleural minicatheter drainage and int rapleural injection with pseudomonas aeruginosa preparation and cisplatin may be the best way to cont rol malignant pleural effusion.
