    Abstract
  • Objective To detect hypermethylation status of the 5' CpG island locating in the promoter region of PTEN gene and the expression level of their mRNA and protein in 4 gastric carcinoma cells. Methods Using methylation-specific PCR(MSP) technique to detect methylation status of PTEN gene in 4 different differentiation gastric cancer cells(HGC-27,MGC-803,BGC-823,SGC-7901),RT-PCR and Western blot technique to detect their mRNA and protein expression level.
