Objective To assess activation of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB)and Human papillomavirus (HPV) type 16 DNA in human colorectal carcinoma. Methods Both detection of activation of NF-κB by electrophoretic mobility shift assay(EMSA) and HPV type16 DNA by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were performed in tissue of the patients with colorectal carcinoma (50 cases),adenoma(30 cases)and normal colorectal tissue (20 cases ).
