Abstract: Bat Long Chong Ji is a mixture of medicinal herbs which has been shown to be effective in the treatment of esophageal, gastric and colon carcinoma, especially combining chemotherapy.This study is to elucidate the effects of Bai Long Chong Ji and Cyclophosphamide on immune functions of tumor bearing mice.The results indicate that:1.Cyclophosphamide showed inhibiting effects on NK activity,lymphocyte proliferation and phagocytic activity of polymorphocytes in the tumor bearing mice, but Bai Long Chongji did not show such inhibiting effects; 2. Combining Bai Long Chong Ji and Cyclophosphamide in the experiment, Bai Long Chong Ji could reverse the inhibiting effects of Cyclophosphamide on the immune functions.
