THE EFFECTS OF TGF-α,TGF-β,AND EGF ON THE GROWTH AND COLONY FORMING EFFICIENCY OF FUKU CELLS

  • 摘要: 本文应用鼠乳房腺癌的表皮细胞——FUKU细胞,研究转化生长因子α(TGF—α),转化生长因子β(TGF—β)和表皮生长因子(EGF)对FUKU细胞的生长和克隆形成的作用。结果表明,TGF—α、TGF—β和EGF对FUKU细胞的生长影响均不明显。TGF—α和EGF对FUKU细胞克隆形成均有刺激作用,二者最强的刺激作用分别,为正常对照的2倍左右。TGF—β对FUKU细胞的克隆形成表现为双向作用,早期刺激后期抑制。TGF—α与EGF的共同作用或TGF—β与TGF—α(或EGF)的共同作用对FUKU细胞克隆形成也无明显的协同作用。

     

    Abstract: The effects of TGF-α, TGF-β and EGF on the growth and colony forming efficincy of FUKU cells were studied. The results showed that the growth of FUKU CElls in monolayer cultures was not affected by these growth factors. TGF-α and EGF increased the colony forming efficincy of FUKU cells, the maximum effect is by 200%, TGF-β had bifunctional effects on the colony forming efficiency of FUKU cells, first stimulation then inhibitiion. No synergism was detectable if TGF-α was applied before or after EGF or if TGF-β was applied before EGF or TGF-α.
