Influence of tumor chemotherapy on adrenal cortex function

摘要: 于1989-1992年，在肿瘤化疗期间，应用放射免疫法检测肿瘤病人血浆皮质醇和醛固酮水平，结果化疗前属正常范围，化疗后均显著降低（皮质醇为663.45±243.17nmol/L对474.78±275.45nmol/L，P<0.01；醛固酮为638.83±324.39Pmol/L对434.45±322.42Pmol/L，P<0.02）。提示化疗对肾上腺皮质分泌功能具有明显的抑制作用，为化疗合用皮质激素类药物，已减轻化疗反应提供了理论依据。

Abstract: We selected 30 patients with tumor in respiratory and metabolic system, they were routinely treated by chemotherapy within the experiment, the level of cortisol and aldosterone were examined by radioimmunoassay. As a result, the level of cortisol and aldosterone were reduced from 663.45 ± 243.17nmo1/L to 474.78 ± 275.45nmo1/L and from 638.83 ± 324.39amo1/L to 434.45 ± 322.42nmo1/L respectively. It differ significantly (P<0.0l, P<0.02). The results suggest that chemotherapy auppreas the secretive function of adrenal cortex. We may use corticoid drugs to minimize the side effect during the chemotherapy.
