Abstract:
Objective To investigate lelationship between activity of MMP-2(72KD),MMP-9(92KD) and invasion,metastasis of human hepatocellular carcinomar(HCC). Methods Useing Zymography and computer software assisted analysis,we have measureed the activitive levels of MMP-2(72KD),MMP-9(92KD)in tissues from HCC. Results Mean activitive levels of 72KD(28.89±7.82)in HCC were higher than those in benign disease,P<0.05.There was difference(P<0.05). in 62KD+72KD of the tumorous tissues and the non-tumorous tissues.62KD(26.57±9.30)was markly higher in HCC (P<0.01).We also fund 62KD/62KD+72KD were apparently higher in HCC(0.47) and metastases (0.41),P<0.01 ,respectively.Meanwhile,levels of 92KD were higher in HCC tiessues (27.95±11.93)than in nontumorous tissues(7.46±2.53),P<0.01.levels of 92KD were higher in metastases than in non-matastasis carcinomas,P<0.01,Conclusion These results demonstrate that levels of MMP-2,MMP-9 can be candicates for novel markeres for HCC.The levels appear to reflect their potential and angoing activity of invasion and metastasis of HCC.
