The Expression and the Clinical Significance of Skp2 and p27 Protein in Breast Cancer

  • 摘要: 目的 探讨Skp2与p27蛋白在乳腺癌中的表达及临床意义。方法 采用免疫组织化学方法对50例乳腺癌和12例正常乳腺组织中Skp2与p27蛋白表达水平进行研究。结果 乳腺癌中Skp2和p27蛋白表达水平与正常乳腺组织比较有显著差异(P<0.05)。Skp2与p27蛋白的表达水平与乳腺癌的临床分期、腋淋巴结受累及远处转移显著相关(P<0.05);肿瘤大小,c-erbB-2表达,局部复发与p27蛋白表达水平显著相关,与Skp2表达无显著相关。Skp2与p27蛋白在乳腺癌中的表达呈负相关(P<0.05)。结论 Skp2与p27蛋白在乳腺癌的发生、发展及预后中起重要作用,对判断肿瘤的生物学行为和预后具有参考价值。

     

    Abstract: Objective  To investigate the expression of Skp2 and p27 protein in breast cancer and their relationship with clinical feature. Methods  Skp2 and p27 protein expression were evaluated in the tissues of 50 breast cancer as well as 12 normal breast using immunohistochemistry. Results  The expression of Skp2 and p27 protein were significantly different between breast cancer and normal breast tissues ( P <0. 05) . High Skp2 and low p27 protein expression in breast cancer were significantly associated with late TNM stage, high incidence of axillary lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis ( P < 0. 05) . Tumor size, c-erbB-2, local recurrence were not significantly correlated with Skp2 expression level, but with p27 protein expression level. Skp2 expression was inversely correlated with p27 protein in breast cancer. Conclusion  Skp2 and p27 protein might play important roles in the development and prognosis of human breast cancer. They may be taken to calculate the biological behavior and the prognosis of human breast cancer.
