NF-κB调节肿瘤放射敏感度机制的研究进展及临床应用展望

Regulatory Mechanisms and Clinical Application Perspectives of NF-κB in Tumor Radiosensitivity

  • 摘要: NF-κB作为核转录因子调节众多基因的转录活性包括免疫调节、生长调节、肿瘤的发生和细胞的损伤修复。放射治疗是肿瘤治疗的主要方法,提高肿瘤细胞的放射敏感度可以显著提高肿瘤的控制率和患者的生存期。本文将对NF-κB调节肿瘤细胞放射敏感度的机制及其在放射治疗方面的临床应用前景进行综述。

     

    Abstract: NF-κB regulates the transcription of various genes involved in the immunoregulation, growth regulation, inflammation, carcinogenesis and cell survival. Recent researches show that NF-κB plays significant roles in the regulation of radiosensitivity in cancer, which is one significant participant in the regulatory mechanisms. Radiotherapy is the primary treatment for tumor. The disease control rate and survival time are able to be greatly improved by enhancing the radiosensitivity. This article reviews the mechanism of NF-κB regulating the radiosensitivity of cancer and its clinical application prospect in radiotherapy.
