Abstract:
Objective:To explore expression of survivin and CD34 in gastric carcinoma and dysplasia, and its significance in gastric carcinoma development. Methods:Imunohistochemical PowerVision method was used to detect the expression of survivin and CD34 in gastric carcinoma and dysplasia.Quantitative image analysis was used to analyze the positive expression of survivin, micromodule density was usesd to indicate the expression of CD34. Results:Survivin expression was negative in normal mucous membrane of gastric, but was positive in gastric carcinoma and dysplasia. Integrated optical density in gastric carcinoma was higher than that in dysplasia. There was no statistically significance between high dysplasia and gastric carcinoma.MVD was statistically difference among the four groups. The expression of survivin and MVD was associated with the differentiation degree, lymph node metastasis and infiltration degree of gastric cancer ( P <0.05),but no relationship with sex( P >0.05). The expression of survivin was positive correlation with MVD. Conclusion:Image analysis could reflect more objectively t0he produce, development, and prognosis of gastric carcinoma.survivin could be an index for early gastric carcinoma diagnosis and detecting survivin and MVD histological grading, tumor malignancy estimation and prognosis of gastric carcinoma.
