Expression of KAI1 and MMP-9 Protein and Its Relationship with Invasion and Metastasis of Gastric Carcinoma

  • 摘要: 目的 研究胃癌组织中KAI1、MMP-9蛋白表达,探讨它们在胃癌侵袭转移过程中的作用。方法 在71例胃癌组织及20例正常胃粘膜组织中,应用免疫组织化学SP法检测KAI1、MMP-9的蛋白表达,进而分析它们彼此之间的关系及与胃癌临床病理特征之间的关系。结果 KAI1、MMP-9在胃癌中的表达率分别为36.6%、67.6%,而20例正常胃组织中KAI1与MMP-9的阳性表达率分别为90%、45%,两组间差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05);KAI1与MMP-9的表达均与浸润深度、淋巴结转移密切相关(P〈0.05),此外,KAI1的表达还与TNM分期有关(P〈0.05)。经统计分析KAI1与MMP-9呈负相关。结论 KAI1、MMP-9与胃癌的侵袭转移密切相关,可作为评价胃癌的进展与预后的有力指标;KAI1、MMP-9可能通过影响血管生成参与胃癌的进展过程,为临床针对胃癌的抗血管治疗提供了新的思路。

     

    Abstract: Objective  To study the expressions of KAI1 and MMP-9 protein in gastric carcinoma and explore their roles in the invasion and metastasis of gast ric carcinoma. Methods  The expression of KAI1 and MMP-9 were detected by immunohistochemistry in 71 specimens of gastric carcinoma tissues and 20 specimens of normal gastric mucosa cases. Results  The positive rates of KAI1 、MMP-9 in gast ric carcinoma tissues were 36. 6 %, 67. 6 % respectively, the expressions of KAI1 and MMP-9 were both correlated with depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis, KAI1 was correlated with TNM stage too ; By statistic analysis, the expression of KAI1 and MMP-9 is of negative correlation. Conclusion  The expressions of KAI1, MMP-9 were significantly correlated with biological behaviors of gast ric carcinoma, may become target of prognostic marker in human gastric carcinoma.
