Abstract:
Cervical cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in the female reproductive system cancers. Although the prognosis of patients has been improved with the development of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other treatments, more than half of patients in the locally advanced stages still have a poor prognosis due to the lack of early symptoms and insufficient screening. As a new omics technology, metabolomics is expected to provide new targets for tumor precision diagnosis and treatment by analyzing the changes and potential mechanisms of metabolites in the process of tumor occurrence and development through chromatography, mass spectrometry and other technologies. In this paper, we reviewed the research methods of metabolomics, metabolic characteristics of cervical cancer and the research progress of metabolomics in cervical cancer diagnosis, curative effect prediction and prognosis evaluation, in order to provide new ideas for accurate diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer.
